The dates that the hall is booked for training will be shown here as and when it is booked so that all members and any prospective members may know exactly when the band is meeting.

Annual General Meeting

The first annual general meeting of the band will be held in early 2010 at a time, date and venue to be decided. All of the band positions will be up for election except that of the Drum Major who is appointed by the committee.

Equipment

We now have sufficient equipment for training purposes but we still await the new parade drums from Premier. We have been informed that these will begin to arrive in the next few weeks. As soon as we know more it will be posted on this site and an e-mail sent to all members.

A Huge Vote of Thanks

Must go to Mr. Peter Taylor late of The Grenadier Guards who came to practice (27 Nov) and took the percussion section on their rudiments. All present learned a lot from him and his overall impression was that they have reached a very good standard in the short time that they have been together. Well done the percussion section.
